Here at Mountain Multivision and Sound, we strive to provide our customers with the highest performing, highest value electronics. That’s why we’re proud to announce that the 2014 Absolute Sound High-End Audio Buyer’s Guide has featured some of our favorite products this year!
PSB Alpha B1
PSB’s Alpha B1 speakers are “an achievement that borders on the surreal,” according to Absolute Sound. Coming in at barely 12” tall, the PSB Alpha B1 is one of the “high end’s most venerated featherweights,” according to this year’s AS High-End Buyer’s Guide. The power and pitch- definition provided by the Alpha are a rarity among speakers in this price range.
When it comes to bite sized awesomeness, PSB does it again with their Imagine Minis. For speakers so “mini” it’s impressive just how “big” they can play, while still maintaining true sound at
the fundamental level. “Enjoyable” and “tuneful” according to its feature in the AS’s High-End Buyer’s Guide.

As usual Sonus faber’s Venere Model 1.5 speakers, exude their rich Italian craftsmanship in a sleek, curvaceous, and eye catching laminate enclosure. The 1.5’s are the smallest in the company’s line up, but that doesn’t stop them from providing “an espresso rich and robust mid-range that makes vocals shine and keeps dynamics lively,” according to AS’s High-End Buyer’s Guide. The Buyer’s Guide also raves about “artifact-free midbass, minimal colorations, and big speaker composure,” and describes “love at first sight,” and the Venere 1.5’s being “irresistible for the money.”
If you’re looking for something a little larger than the doted upon 1.5s, then Sonus faber’s Venere Model 2.5-way, bass-reflex floorstanders are for you. It’s hard to choose, but the Buyer’s Guide believes they’re “even more graceful-looking than the lovely Model 1.5.” The main distinction between the two

models is a firmer, more grounded sound provided by it’s “effusive tonal balance.” The Buyer’s Guide say’s the 2.5’s “will reward you for sticking to your budget.”

PSB also got raving reviews in the High-End Buyer’s Guide for its floorstander, the Imagine T2. Although the floorstanders are moderately sized, the Imagine T2s offer an astoundingly “big” sound. The Buyer’s Guide finds the “dynamics sufficient to present large-scaled music convincingly and enough bass to cover orchestral and rock music.”
